Fazoli’s Review 2
As promised, now that Fazoli’s has changed their pizza, I returned for a second review.
Fazoli’s used to have a square pizza, made from their breadsticks. It was pretty vile.
Now they’ve changed their recipe and swtiched to round pizza, which they sell either as a 16″ whole pizza or by the slice. Not really being up for a 16″ pizza all for myself, I had to sample the by-the-slice model, thus making this an unofficial Pizza Locust Review.
The crust is still probably made from the breadsticks, but has a little more density, which is a bit of an improvement, but not much. The sauce is their marinara sauce, which is too sweet for a pizza. (When combined with cheese, tomato sauce should be less sweet than when just poured over pasta.) The pepperoni was OK.
It was not enough of an improvement to make me want to go back for a full pizza and a proper review. Not recommended.
