The Pizza Locust

This post marks the first official “Pizza Locust” post.

I’ve been doing pizza reviews for some time over at Lone Locust but analysis of my blog’s traffic shows that the pizza visitors are following a different path, usually direct search engine hits to specific reviews.

So, to try to improve the visitor’s experience, I’ve split Lone Locust into two sites by creating this new Pizza Locust site, where we’ll be all pizza, all the time.*

I’ve imported most of my pizza posts from Lone Locust to make this the official archive of my pizza reviews.

But we’ve got some new things in store. Because of our focus on pizza, I’m going to try to new things (all pizza, of course) that are in the works.

It’s no coincidence that I’m launching this site this week, because next week is the second annual Lone Locust Pizza Week, which, I suppose will hereafter be called “Pizza Locust Week.” Seven Days, Seven Pizzas - it’s just like being in college again.

I’ve also added an Amazon store just for pizza-related items. For now, things aren’t all settled in, but there’s no reason not to start now!

*I suppose I might drift off pizza, just a little, from time to time, but not far.
