La Vecchia Pizza - Review

In any case, to be fair to the pizzas I review, I generally will only review them at the restaurant. I won’t order a pizza for delivery or take-out.

Every rule, of course, has an exception. Mine is the 4 minute exception. If the pizza can be delivered from oven to the table I’m eating at in 4 minutes or under, I’ll consider it to be “fresh.”

La Vecchia Pizza exists in that unique place: It is less than a 1 minute drive to my house.

Although it wasn’t my plan to eat at home, when I arrived at the restaurant, I felt a little like I was intruding on the family’s quiet Sunday evening, so I decided to order the pizza go.

The pizza turned out to be well-cooked, pleasing to the eye, and almost completely devoid of flavor. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pizza with less flavor.

Being at home and being unimpressed, I didn’t even bother to collect vital statistics about cost per square inch, etc.
